The assignment was to do a self-portrait on wood; how we wanted to do it was entirely up to us.
This was actually done on accident... well, the part with my face was, lol. I was technically supposed to be in Math, but Art is so much more fun and we knew what we were doing already.  ; Eh, who cares... Right. Well, I was messing with the paint and finger-painting. This paper was underneath those and once I finished I decided to draw my self-portrait on there for some reason. *shrugs* But I had taken a picture of myself before then (And, yes, I do have my eyebrow pierced. Can't really tell there that well. ;_; ). I thought it looked alright and then just pasted it onto the wood after painting it. *nodnod* Long-drawn out explanation for you all. ^^ The face part is done with charcoal, if that isn't obvious, lol. That's probably the most you'll see of me, lol. XDD *doesn't like pictures* Gotta love charcoal! ; |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
